DefCamp once again leads Romania’s charge at the Global Cybersecurity Camp!

As a proud member of the GCC, DefCamp will select up to three Romanian students to participate in GCC in 2026. 

Thanks to the support of Bitdefender & Bit Sentinel, the travel and accommodation costs for the selected students will be fully covered.

 

GCC is an annual international week-long cybersecurity talent development camp that aims to facilitate collaborations among cybersecurity institutions all around the world to boost the quality of education and research and grow global cybersecurity talents.

GCC 2026 is happening in Vietnam,

on March 2nd-6th 2026.

“How do I make it to GCC?”

It’s simple. You should:

  • be between 18 and 25 years old and preferably enrolled as undergraduate student;
  • be involved in the cybersecurity community;
  • have experience in the field;
  • want to give back to the infosec community;
  • follow the selection process:
    • complete and submit the application form by November 28
    • a panel of judges will review all submissions and select the most outstanding applications
    • applicants will be informed of the results by December 15 at the latest
